Job Description :

Typical Duties

  1. Installation of Point-of-sale (POS) systems at restaurants and Hotels.
  2. Provide go live support on site (Indian and abroad) and send daily activity logs.
  3. Troubleshooting of issues related to POS software, hardware, configuration etc.
  4. Provide training of POS features to customer remotely and on-site.
  5. Documentation of POS installation, configuration, training and support.
  6. Act as liaison between customer and developer to resolve the issues and develop new features.
  7. Software testing of new products, software enhancements, API, Reports etc.
  8. Database testing for data validation on report.
  9. Documentation for new product release.
  10. Make Power Point Presentations to present On-Site work, Testing results, Support performance etc.

Essential Qualifications:

  1. B.Tech with IT, Computer Science, Electronics and Communications. Masters in Computer Applications (MCA).
  2. Working knowledge of Computer Networks, Windows installation and troubleshooting installation issues.
  3. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project and Power Point).
  4. Good Spoken and written English.
  5. Excellent communication skills for better client communication.
  6. Desirable previous experience with MICROS or alternative Point-of-Sales (POS) system.
  7. Desirable knowledge of Food & Beverage industry.
  8. Desirable previous experience in supporting Hospitality Software Products.
  9. Must be legally entitle to work in India.
