Job Description
Roles and Responsibility:
As the Load and Performance (L&P) Tester, you will be responsible for defining, leading, and continuously improving the load & performance testing approach, framework, and service offerings on this Program
You will lead the buildout of the Load and Performance architecture, the Performance environment and work with Performance tools
You will ensure the load and performance tests meet business requirements for the respective teams working on Agile SCRUM releases
Work with architects, business, Scrum teams and other client stakeholders on gathering performance test requirements and coordinating test execution
Create performance test strategy, Performance Test Framework, Test planning, Capacity Planning
Communicate with multiple stakeholders on project status, issues, escalations.Create and maintain performance test scripts in HP Loadrunner and Jmeter
Create scenarios, execute and monitor tests and analyze results
Perform workload analysis using Performance Monitoring tools (Sitescope,Splunk, google analytics etc.)
Manage Performance Test Data Strategy including data identification, data seeding, data scrubbing etc. as needed
Review test result and provide recommendation on remediation
Be a subject matter expert for cross-functional teams on performance
Qualifications :- Bachelors degree in Technical Field
Skills/Knowledge:
Minimum of 5 years hands on experience in L&P tools, framework development, L&P related strategy, planning and execution activities, sizing, test data definition, data setup, set up of measures, load testing, and performance testing
Experience implementing best practices, process improvements and defining strategy related to the performance and load testing of a variety of application types
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to coordinate with other groups to ensure deadlines are met and system performance is acceptable before production implementation within an Agile SCRUM environment
Knowledge of Selenium, Soap UI, Rest API
Knowledge of VSTS/Team Foundation Server for test case, defect management
Understanding of Cloud technology (AWS/Azure) and Knowledge of multi-tiered web-based systems and data-driven applications
Must have Advanced Knowledge of performance testing concepts and the type of tests (load, endurance, stress, failover)
Knowledge of CI/CD using Jenkins
Knowledge of automation Selenium
Expert knowledge/expertise and advanced hands on experience in two or more of the following: JAVA (preferred), Angular, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, .NET C#, SQL, C/C++, etc.
Attention to detail, professional presentation skills, and the ability to work with complex projects
Ability to make judgements and recommendations based on the analysis and interpretation of data
Knowledge of any Monitoring tools (Splunk/ Google Analytics/SiteScope/PerfMon)
Experience :- Minimum of 5 years hands on experience required
