Job Description:
We have an interesting opportunity for Sql DBA role and interested candidates can walk-in directly on Friday i.e. 2nd August between 10am till 12pm.
JD:
Junior DBA
- Should have at least 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge on Monitoring Scheduled Jobs, other automation Jobs, AlwaysOn Cluster, replication and log shipping in Live Production Environment
- Troubleshoot SQL Server service outages as they occur, including after-hours and weekends
- Should be able to Check state of the SQL Database, SQL Agent, SQL Reporting Services and SQL Analysis Services to ensure they are running
- Should be able to Check the scheduled SQL Server backup status and Configure SQL Server monitoring utilities to minimize false alarms
- Ensure free space is above healthy monitoring free space, and takes steps to resolve if free space drops below healthy free space levels
- Should be able to Manage Database and Application Security and assigning permissions to users and roles
- Should be able to Deploy database change scripts provided by third party vendors
