Job Description;
Perform implementation and operation support for Citrix XenApp, Citrix Xen Desktop , Citrix NetScaler, Access Gateway feature, Citrix Streaming technology, Citrix EdgeSight, MS Server 2008 R2, MS Desktop OS, VMware ESX 5.1, and Active Directory integrations.
Experience with Citrix designs, implementations, maintenance, configurations, and resolve tier III escalated issues for Citrix XenApp, Citrix Xen Desktop 7.6 and Citrix NetScaler.
Good Experience in PVS.
Interface with Architect and Citrix Engineer to develop and maintain all build guides, technical schematics, and test plans.
Execute MS Server builds, installations, Group Policies and AD creations.
Execute MS Desktop OS builds, installations with VDI best practices in mind.
Support Citrix XenApp Servers, Citrix NetScaler Appliance, Citrix Access Gateway policies and configurations and Citrix EdgeSight reporting and monitoring.
Configuring and administering Microsoft Exchange, Lync, Mail Gateway (SMG), Citrix and SharePoint farms/systems to ensure day-to-day operations. This includes automated patching management, monitoring and ensuring uptime, server maintenance, new customer implementations.
Take ownership of incidents and requests that exceed the IOC scope of expertise/work.
Create knowledge base articles for common processes and issues for the team and the IOC groups.
Identify new initiatives for growth and share ideas on ways to improve standards through scripting automation and/or operational processes
Interact with customers and stakeholders on day-to-day issues, service request and implementation projects.
Provide a high level of customer satisfaction in all areas of delivery.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science/information Systems or equivalent
4 8 years experience managing mid to enterprise Citrix XenApp or XenDesktop environment.
Certifications:
Citrix CCA (Added advantage)
