Job Description:
As a Test Automation Engineer you will be responsible for leveraging and extending existing test automation tools and frameworks.
You must be comfortable doing so in a fast-paced agile environment.
You should have strong experience in building automated testing capabilities for CI (Continuous Integration) /CD (Continuous Delivery) pipelines
Knowledgeable around testing distributed systems on public and private clouds.
Knowledge and experience around Test Driven Development is recommended.
Required Candidate profile:
Required Education/Experience
BTech degree in Computer Science or related discipline, MTech degree preferred
5+ years of overall experience
Minimum of 3 years designing, integrated application solutions
Minimum of 2 years implementing network based solutions in a highly virtualized environment, Microsoft, Dell, EMC storage, and Cisco.
Knowledge of infrastructure components, virtualization technologies, middleware and SOA
Required Skills:
Minimum 5 years engineering experience in cloud (SaaS) software environment
Building and running test systems in a CI/CD pipeline.
Agile (Scrum, Lean) and Test Driven Development.
Experience coding in Java, C#, JS, Database, NoSql, Python (nice to have), Load Runner, Security Test Engineer (CORS,SQL Injection, Site hijacker), SQA Reports, Permanence Tester.
Test Automation tools such as Selenium, Protractor, Sauce Labs, JMeter, Public Cloud AWS, Private Cloud Openstack, VMWare.
Virtualization and Container technology such as Mesos and Docker.
Experience with Automated Testing Tools. (Jasmine, Selenium, CasperJS, Cucumber, etc).
Understanding of the UNIX/Linux/Windows operating systems.
Understanding of internet protocols (HTTPS, DNS, TCP, and UDP) and web services such as SOAP and REST.
Experience with a 24/7 production environment.
