Job Description:
We are looking for a Java Reliability Engineer with experience in building
high-performing and scalable enterprise applications.
You will be part of a talented software team that works on mission-critical
applications.
Roles & Responsibilities
Experience with Application Development, Production Support and Issue
triaging.
Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and
technologies and presenting these for the leadership teams.
Provide L2 support for the issues forwarded by L1 team.
Working on JIRA Kanban is an advantage
Ability to multi task workload in a fast pace dynamic environment.
Develop tools to increase operational efficiency.
Configure alerts and monitors to proactively identify issues.
Understand the business flow and map the technology problems to get the
right solutions out.
Requirements
Bachelors /Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related
subject
Experience creating and consuming RESTful micro services.
Experience with at least some of the Big data frameworks like Cassandra,
Maria, Spark, Hive, SOLR etc.
Experience in Java/ J2ee technologies and production support
Strong scripting skills in shell/ Python
Proven working experience in Java development
Very good understanding of Python/Java, web frameworks
Proven working experience in Support Projects.
Experience with Version Control Systems like GIT
Willingness to work in shifts
Strong problem-solving & Analytical skills
Excellent client-facing skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Skills: Java, J2EE, , Hibernate, Spring, Spring Boot, Cassandra, Solr, Hive, Python
Scripting.
