Network Engineer – L1

Extend technical support to Clients over email and phone.
Provide Basic level troubleshooting.
Responsible for the uptime of the various client projects being managed / monitored.
Make sure that the tickets raised per shift are closed in the required time limits and if not escalated as per the escalation matrix defined.
Raise and also update the tickets in CRM for all the issues handled / worked upon.
Report the daily issues handled / escalated in the form of daily shift reports.
Need to make sure that issues are handled in right time frames as per the SLA / commitments.
Interaction with the clients worldwide via phone, email, etc.
Follow a proper escalation chart and matrix given.
Timely update/Quality update of tickets in the ticketing tool.
Escalation to L2 in a timely manner.
Customer related sundry activities.
Help project team in commissioning of new customer and change request.
Hands-on experience on Network protocols LAN, WAN protocols like HSRP , VLANS, STP, OSPF and BGP
Knowledge about MPLS
Hands on experience on Routing, Switching, Firewall devices
Knowledge on Firewalls
Understanding of Network Operations
Profiles having networking experience in Data Center industry at any given point in their career will be preferred
Exposure to trouble ticketing processes and handover processes.
Adhere to shift timings and shift handover process.
Should be good at documenting the nature of the problems
Experience in working on any monitoring software such as Nagios,
UG:Any Graduate – Any Specialization
PG:Any Postgraduate – Any Specialization
