1 Take customer call and Responsible for maintenance of customers network infrastructure.
2 Checking/Verification power indication and connectivity of switches.
3 Checking/Verification Port (UTP/Fiber) connectivity, LED status and shut/unshut Ports, ZIZO SFP module or other module of switches.
4 Checking & troubleshooting CRC errors, duplex settings, packet loss, broadcast/ flood /authentication/losses/ high latency issue & Ping, trace response.
5 Conduct Troubleshooting via Device login(console/telnet) or physically, root-cause analysis and identify bottlenecks, respond to performance degradation to customer.
6 Follow-up for RCA from hardware vendor.
7 Onsite engineer alignment from /hardware vendor. Assist /hardware vendor to identify problematic area.
8 Proper Documents updation if any change.
9 Manage and understand data flow in network. Fixing VLAN related issue.
10 Manage network equipment upgrade & maintenance IOS & patch update, L2 level re-structuring, VLAN mgmt., card installation.
11 Resolution of problem through configuration changes/re- installation/replacement and vendor Co-ordination.
