Job Description:

Senior/Lead Quality Assurance Engineer – Selenium/Appium/Automation Testing

Ensure delivered products conform to highest quality standards
Build automation frameworks and tools to improve product quality and developer productivity
Define and Communicate Quality process, tools and metrics to key stakeholders – engineers, managers, executives, and customers
Define test plans and code reviewing strategies, preferably on test automation
Collaborate across teams to implement best practices for quality assurance approaches and their execution
Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review
Work on projects executed across geographies and cultures

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in Computer Science or related field
5- 7 years of experience in software quality control and testing
Experience in identifying QA specific tools for Defects tracking, Requirements tracking, Traceability
Proven track of Testing high velocity/tight deadline cloud based solutions
Must have experience in developing effective Test Strategy and Test Plan, preferably automated testing
Deep understanding of software testing approaches (unit tests, integration tests, acceptance tests, negative testing)
Ability to work with global teams
Extraordinary communication skills
Team Player mentality
Fluent English
He must know how to Test NFRs like Performance, Stability testing using Industry de-facto tools like Load Runner
Familiarity with Katalon Studio, Selenium, Appium, Junit, TestNG, Python
Must have API testing and Front Testing using Tools like SOAP UI Pro / Selenium
Expertise in Defect tracking tools to identify the deviation in the product (JIRA, ALM)
Expertise in Test Management Tools like TestLink, JAMA to create TestPlans, TestCases and manage various releases.
Experience in Test coverage tools to test what part of the application is tested and hands on experience on tools (JTest, EMMA,Cobertura)
Worked in identifying critical Lab infra requirements w.r.t Servers / Licenses / Tools. Proactively taking actions to mitigate zero down time of lab infra
Experience with agile methodologies (specifically Scrum), modern source control repositories and DevOps toolset
Solid understanding of release strategies
