1. What is Data?

Data is defined as facts or information that’s stored and used by a computer.

Data can be classified into three types
a. Structured Data
b. Semi-Structured Data
c. Unstructured Data

Data can be stored in two forms,
a. File
b. Database
Relational Databases / SQL Databases (MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, SyBase, DB2, DB/400, etc,
Non-relational Databases/NoSQL Databases (MongoDB, Redis, CouchDB, Cassandra, HBase, etc,

2. Types of Data

There are multiple types of data. Some of the more common types of data include the following:

a. Text (string)
b. Number (integer or floating-point)
c. Single character
d. Boolean (true or false)
e. Image
f. Audio
g. Video
Etc,

3. What is Database and Types of Databases?

A database is a collection of data. It supports electronic data storage and manipulation, and management.

Types of Databases:

a. Centralized database.
b. Distributed database.
c. Personal database.
d. Cloud database.
e. Object-oriented database.
etc,

But these can be segregated into two categories:
i. SQL Databases
ii. NoSQL Databases

4. Big Data

Big Data, a huge amount of data, and this can be structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.

Examples:
i. Stock Exchange Data
ii. Social Media Data

5. Data Warehouse?

A Data Warehousing (DW) is a process for collecting and managing data from varied sources to provide meaningful business insights.

6. Testing of Data?

a. SQL/Relational Database Testing
b. NoSQL Database Testing
c. ETL Testing

7. SQL/Relational Database Testing

We have three types of SQL/Relational Database Testing, they are,

a. Structural Database Testing
b. Functional Database Testing
c. Non-functional Database Testing
