Resume Preparation For Freshers

Resume preparation is an important activity in a person’s job career. People prepare CV’s when they are fresher and prepare resumes whenever they want to company change or job role change.

What is a fresher resume?

A fresher resume is the resume of a recent university graduate with little or no work experience.

The focus of such a resume is, therefore, more on your assets as a person. It emphasizes your skills and abilities to make up for your lack of experience.

Most candidates who are freshers use the functional resume format instead of the more commonly used chronological resume format. A functional resume format highlights your skills and abilities instead of focusing on your experience or lack thereof.

Choosing a resume format is important for fresher.

Because most candidates create their resumes using a chronological format that focuses on their relevant experience, freshers need a different (functional resume) format that focuses on their strengths while also equally highlighting them as strong candidates for the positions they are applying for.
